Hello guys, I have this macbook pro for about 3 years, and I just found out how much this "other" stuff is taking of my storage, I would like to ask for some help to make some extra storage here

Re-index the drive to get a more accurate report from Spotlight: Spotlight- How to re-index folders or volumes. Or select your drive, then press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window and look in the topmost panel for a report for the drive: Capacity, Used, and Available. This is an accurate summary. You can also get a more accurate report using Disk Utility.
